Past Anthologies

Back in 2012, right before the world was supposed end (remember that?), a group of writers over on SFFWorld.com thought we should go out with a bang. With impending doom fueling our creative muses, we put together a collection of short stories to foist upon the peoples before we all disintegrated into dust (or whatever was supposed to happen at the end of the Mayan calendar). Since we didn’t all keel over and die, each year after, we kept doing it. Check ’em out and enjoy.

TheEnd

THE END – Visions of Apocalypse

Everyone knows the world is going to end on December 21st, 2012. The Mayans knew it – their calendar proved it. So what better way to go out than by reading this short story collection about The End? …apart from telling your friends about it in 2013, of course.

This compilation brings together short stories by award-winning science fiction and fantasy authors Hugh Howey, Michael J. Sullivan and Tristis Ward, with fresh, new voices selected by their peers at SFFWorld.com – all brought to you in this first-of-its-kind anthology.

Each story explores a different end of the world. What is the limit of a computer virus? Can we save the world by stopping time itself, or will we just wither away in the relentless winds of the apocalypse?

Grab your copy now before the end of the world, and find out.

Contributors include: Michael Aaron, Liam Baldwin, R. F. Dickson, Wilson Geiger, Norman Gray, Hugh Howey, Stephen “B5” Jones, G. L. Lathian, Igor Ljubuncic, Pete McLean, Michael J. Sullivan, and Tristis Ward

These are 13 tales of luck. All richly told stories of characters down on their luck, relying on their luck, or simply have bad luck.

WARS TO END ALL WARS – Alternate Tales From The Trenches

In our third annual SFFWorld.com anthology, N. E. White dips into history for the 100th-year anniversary of World War 1.

Seven authors, including the award-winning Science Fiction and Fantasy author, Elizabeth Moon, commemorate that event by writing stories set during the great war, adding their own, sometimes speculative, interpretations and answering the question, “What if…?”

Featuring all new stories by G. L. Lathian, Dan Bieger, Wilson Geiger, Andrew leon Hudson, Igor Ljubuncic, and Lee Swift. We are honored to include a re-print of Elizabeth Moon’s short, military story: Traditions.

NOTE: Igor Ljubuncic’s story, The Girl With Flaxen Hair, was nominated for the 2015 Sideways Award!
